About Us
Solar One,   The original solar one built in the 1980's

The first one of its kind, able to generate as much as 10 megawatts of electricity.  
Here in the California desert Rockwell International power systems division and
over a dozen other major corporations developed and designed this state of the art
power solar systems.

We at Rockwell used reflective mirrors,                                                                                 
that track the sun to heat elements in a                                                                         
vertical tower.  These elements contain                                                                                
oil fuel used to run electrical turbine
generators that produce electricity.  
This overwhelming success was the
single largest facility of its kind in the
world     Even today in 2009 the facility
stands as a memento of the state of the
art technology required to move us in the
direction of  emission free living. .
